The Division of watering at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine contributes to provide water to the pilgrims’ convoy, and its employees raise the slogan of providing water to the pilgrims is an honor for us.

The services provided by the Watering Division of the Department of services' affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, was not limited to providing water to the visitors of the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), but it also has many other activities and services, including providing cold water, for the third year in row, to the pilgrims' convoys heading to perform Hajj rituals, taking the land road (Nukhayb - 'Ar'ar). The division raises the slogan "The service and providing water to the pilgrims is an honor for us."

Haj Ahmad al-Hanoon; the official of the watering division, who was present on the field in the reception center of the pilgrims' convoys at the border port, has explained to us, saying: "The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, as part of its duty towards the pilgrims, has provided thousands of liters of pure water RO, and hundreds of ice blocks through watering stations ensured by the watering division of the Department of services' affairs at the holy shrine. All human and trucks resources were prepared to start to work tirelessly since the first convoys of pilgrims entered on the August 6, 2017. The employees of the division compete to perform this service, which will continue until the exit of the last convoy."

And added: "We have prepared a plan that included the provision of approximately 3000 liters of cooled water daily in accordance with the preparation of convoys of pilgrims added to 30.000 goblet of unique use with the deployment of 60 stations at all entrances and exits of the port. And all these stations are filled with water through specialized mechanisms. Also, a special vehicle (refrigerator truck) was set up to store ice with a capacity of 600 ice block from the ice factory of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine."

Haj al-Hanoon said: "We consider this service as an honor for us, added to the honor of serving the visitors of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and because our Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) is he who quenches the thirst, we have performed this service in his name."

The pilgrims in turn praised these services provided by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to the pilgrims, in addition to their protection during their way to perform Haj.
