The Institute of the Holy Quran at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, through its branch in the British capital London, has intensified its activities in this period and held many specialized Quranic courses about various Quranic topics in a new way based on the narrations and Hadiths of the Prophet and Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
These courses included a session held in the Hussayniat of the Center of Imam ar-Redha (peace be upon him) in Liverpool, and then celebrated the graduation of the participants in it.
Sheikh Dea-Uddin Aal Majid al-Zubaidi; the director of the Center of Quran sciences, interpretation and printing at the Institute of the Holy Quran who were present and represented the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in this celebration, and the supervisor of these courses, has states: "The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, we have then opened a Quranic conference in which many topics about the approach of Thaqalayn [two weights]; the Holy Quran and Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)], as well as the efforts made by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the service of the Holy Quran and the holy Household (peace be upon them) and about its most prominent projects."
And he added: "There was also a speech of the organizer of this sessions, in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the establishment of these Quranic courses, which contributed to the improvement of the Quranic level of the participants, hoping at the same time the repetition of such initiatives and courses. Then the appreciation certificates from the Institute of the Holy Quran were distributed to the participants in this Quranic course."
It is noteworthy that the purpose of opening a branch of the Institute of the Holy Quran in London, is to provide services in learning and Quranic studies according to the school of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and to be a Quranic school added to the series of the Institute branches scattered in most of the provinces of Iraq, and to be good debut for the opening of more branches outside Iraq.
