Sayed al-Safi meets leaders of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad ahead of the battle of Tal-A'far and insists: Saving an innocent is better than killing a terrorist.

The Senior Officer of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi has met with the leaders of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad ahead of the battle of Tal-A'far.

The meeting that was held at the Hall of al-Qasem son of al-Hassan (peace be upon both of them) at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, was attended by a number of satellite channels and news agencies.

The following are the most prominent recommendations made by His Eminence to the leadership of the Squad:

1- We should not underestimate the enemy's capabilities, even weak, as long as carrying the weapon it cannot be underestimated as we might suffer losses because of this. The courageous person is the one who does neither neglect nor underestimate, but deal with his refuted enemy with vigilance, caution and readiness, and seeks to evoke all possibilities to resolve the battle.

2- The fighting training of the squad is a good training and the readiness of its equipment is also good despite some problems of the Squad. The level of training and readiness of the Squad make us optimistic. The training must be continued for the fighters.

3- Adhering to the ethics of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), we are people of principles that do not concede them even in the darkest circumstances, and these moral constants are very important for several reasons:

The first reason: This battle is a historic and fateful battle in which everything will be written. The most important thing is to write the ethical aspects and preserve the lives of innocents. As the enemy usually resorts to despicable methods that are far from the spirit of courage and morality, taking the innocent ones as human shields to protect himself from refraction and defeat. So the brave fighter is the one who do not make the innocents pay for the crimes of the oppressor, thus it is necessary to pay great attention to protecting these vulnerable lives that the enemy prevent from escaping to use them as human shield. So, there will be another duty for the fighters in addition to the fight that will be crowned by victory, God willing, which is preservation of innocent lives.

The second reason: Saving an innocent is better than killing a terrorist. And the Squad is committed to this, but we are emphasizing once again on this point to seek carefully to differentiate between the fighter and the non-combatant.

4- We will instruct the departments of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to be present with you in this battle as much as possible.

5- The communication, cooperation and coordination between you and with all the security units involved in this operation should be at the highest levels of accuracy, which is very important matter.

6- You should not have the obsession that people think you are the ones who made victory, but the goal must be to achieve victory together, and this spirit if present the victory will come soon, God willing.

And it is to note that the Supervisor of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad; Mr. Maitham al-Zaidi has stated during a press conference held on Monday morning the 21st of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1438 AH corresponding to the August 14, 2017, that the forces that will represent the Fighting Squad of al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in the expected liberation battle of Tal A'far are:

Its brigade associated with the popular mobilization: Brigade 26.

Its forces associated with the Iraqi Ministry of Defense.

And its reserve forces who were called through our representatives in the Iraqi provinces, and who have already been trained in various fighting arts.
