Al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad holds the first conference for the processions to support the Mujahideen in Iraq.

The first conference for the processions of the logistic support in Iraq held by the Al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad on Thursday the 25th of Dhu al-Qi'dah 1438 AH corresponding to the August 17, 2017, under the slogan "The processions for the support of Mujahideen are a key partner in achieving victory."

This conference, which was held in the hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him), was attended by the Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the leaders of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad and a large number of Hussayni processions' owners from different provinces of Iraq

The goal of this conference is to highlight the most important problems facing the processions supporting the Mujahideen during their trips from their provinces to the areas where the volunteers of the defense Fatwa are stationed, in addition to the coordination of efforts to support the upcoming Tal-A'far battle to achieve the best results.

The obstacles and solutions were discussed at a conference chaired by the supervisor of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad; Sheikh Maitham al-Zaidi, and Haj Riyadh Ni'mah al-Salman, head of the Department of the Hussayni processions in Iraq and Islamic world of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), as they have listened to most of the obstacles and problems facing the work of these processions and discussed the means to solve and overcome them.

After listening to the problems, Mr. al-Zaidi stressed that: "The representations of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad were instructed to facilitate the obstacles that impede the work of the processions, starting from getting their movement permission to overcome the road obstacles especially at night time." He has also stressed on the processions to comply with the instructions of the security forces to ensure their security and safety, promising that their other requests that are out of the Squad's duty will be transferred through the Squad to the competent authorities to discuss the solutions, and stressing on the need to coordinate between the processions in the provinces for the benefit of the fighters so that there is no overlapping and repetition in what they receive.

The conference has also stressed the need to support the upcoming operations to liberate the city of Tal-A'far, to provide the necessary needs of the security forces in addition to supporting the displaced during the military operations.

For his part, the head of the Processions' Department; Haj Riyadh Ni'mah al-Salman has stated in his speech at the conference: "The people of Mosul remember your noble position while providing them aid in the Hussayni processions in the displaced camps, directed by the supreme religious authority in Najaf that urged to save the people in Mosul from thirst and hunger, after which your processions rushed despite the war against ISIL to provide aids to the women and children in the worst weather conditions, and so the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) will remain the school from which the humanity learn how the human loves his fellow human."

And added: "The sound of the drums of the battle to liberate Tal-A'far has started, and here we are gathered to encourage you and raise your spirits to support the heroes of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad and other fighting formations by the logistic and moral support to your brothers."
