Important: The al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad announces the end of its fighting duty in the liberation operations of Tal-A'far and confirms its readiness to carry out any further duty assigned to it.

The al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad has announced on Saturday morning the 3rd of Dhu al-Hijjah 1438 AH corresponding to the August 26, 2017, officially the end of its fighting duty in the liberation operations of Tal-A'far and the statement is as follows:

In the name of Allah the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

{And fulfill [every] commitment. Indeed, the commitment is ever [that about which one will be] questioned.} (17:34).

After praising Allah and thanking Him for his bounty, we have fulfilled the commitment and accomplished the promise, and completed our duty, which was commissioned to us by the operations of "We are coming, O Nineveh" within the operations "We are coming O Tal-A'far" yesterday the 25th of August 2017 at 11 am, and thus the duties of the Fighting Squad have been completed, and we are ready to carry out any further duties assigned to us in the coming days. And we will be swords of Abbas's (p) determination in the face of every person who try to tamper with the security and safety of Iraq, its people and its sanctities.

Later this day, the Squad will hold a press conference to brief our beloved people on the details of the battle.

It is worth mentioning that the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad is participating in the operations to liberate Tal-A'far with 5000 fighters divided into three brigades: the armored brigade, the elite brigade and the reserve brigade, along with the artillery battalion, the missile support battalion and the tactical formations. It has achieved its first goals in the eastern axis of the operations.
