A massive reception of the heroes of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad after their return to the province of Karbala on Wednesday night the 7th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1438 AH, corresponding to the August 30, 2017, holding in their hands the flag of "Allahu Akbar [God is the greatest]" and the good tidings of the victory achieved by them and by those who supported them from the security forces, the federal police and the other factions participating in the liberation of the Tal-A'far district of the province of Mosul from the desecration of the Takfiri and terrorist gangs that have caused all kinds of harm for more than three years, until the Almighty God allowed its liberation by the blessings of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and the courage, valiance and steadfastness of the knights of its Squad, who fought to liberate every inch of the land of the homeland so security and safety are felt in every home of this dear country. The knights of the squad were welcomed by the Secretary-general of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Mohamad al-Ashigar and a number of the members of the Board of Directors, in addition to the heroes of the homeland.

This reception was organized in order to thank the heroes of the Squad and in memory of the martyrs and the wounded, who stayed during these weeks fighting heroically to achieve this decisive victory in a few days that no one expected it. In the hope that the final victory will be achieved soon, God willing.

The heroes of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad were welcomed by chants and prayers and slaughtering sacrifices thank God for this victory. The people of the holy city of Karbala and the servants of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to welcome the conquerors with pride and asceticism for the victory achieved by these believing heroes.

The Mujahideen expressed their joy to return to the holy land of Karbala after achieving the great victory by liberating the District of Tal-A'far, and they have thanked all the attendees for their great reception, and prayed for the martyrs and the wounded.

It is worth mentioning that the al-Abbas's (p) fighting squad is participating in the operations to liberate Tal-A'far with 5000 fighters divided into three brigades: the armored brigade, the elite brigade and the reserve brigade, along with the artillery battalion, the missile support battalion and the tactical formations. It has achieved its first goals in the eastern axis of the operations.
