The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine celebrates Eid al-Ghadir.

In the midst of an atmosphere full of joy and spirituality and on the occasion of the greatest Eid of Allah; Eid al-Ghadir, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine represented by the Department of the sanctuary's care has set a celebration that is used to commemorate annually on this occasion because of its special impact in the hearts of the faithful, who follow the noble Prophet and his holy Household (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

The ceremony that was held on the evenin of Sunday the 18th of Dhu al-Hijjah 1438 AH corresponding to the September 10, 2017 in the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), started by the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran, followed by poems of the love of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) by the Radood Mulla Thamer al-'Aredhi.

Then Radood Mulla Hussein al-'Akili continued chanting poems that translated the feelings of the followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) who attended the ceremony, expressing the joy and happiness that flooded their hearts on this occasion.

Then the poet Mohamad al-A'ajibi presented his poems in the love of the Commander of the Faithful; Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon him), then the Hussayni Radood Mulla 'Ala al-Bayati concluded the ceremony.

It is to note that the Department of the Sanctuary's Care has held this ceremony every year on the occasion of the coronation of Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon him) as his successor and guardian of the Great Messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household). The celebration was attended by some of the officials of the holy shrine and the heads of its departments and a crowd of visitors of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).
