The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine begins its preparations for the commemoration of Ashura Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

With the start of the countdown to the holy month of Muharram, the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine with all its departments is witnessing a tireless movement and extraordinary preparations with all security and service staff, and which culminate during the days of Ashura, the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Master of the Free ones; Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) his holy family and companions.

And these days, a series of meetings on two levels, the first level was between the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the heads of its security and service departments, in order to outline the general lines of the plan and what will be presented during the Ziyarat of Ashura, which is the introduction to the Ziyarat al-Arba'een. Many points were discussed to well serve all those who are heading to the shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) and to perform their rituals with ease.

The second level of these meetings was between the heads of departments and the officials of the divisions and units, to discuss and implement what was agreed upon with the decisions of the meetings of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine on the ground. And indeed, some departments have started their work, such as the Department of the Engineering Maintenance, the Department of the Service Affairs, the Department of the shrine' care and the Department of the Religious Guiding, as well as the Department of processions and Hussayni bodies, which had visits and tours of all its representations in the provinces in order to follow-up to commemorate this painful occasion.

There was also meetings with the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) as a part of the plan is implemented jointly, in addition to meetings with the security and service Departments in the province of Karbala.

On the other hand, the people of Karbala have set up Hussayni processions and the tents of condolences to commemorate the month of sadness and sorrow, reminding the tragedy of the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him) and his family and companions and what happened to them in Karbala, in the year sixty one after migration.
