The servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) decorate the shrine of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) to manifest sadness and mourning for Ashura.

In continuation to the maintenance works of the shrine of Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her), the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) roll up their sleeves again to cover her holy sanctuary from inside and outside with black banners to manifest sadness and sorrow in preparation for the coming of the holy month of Muharram, as well as continuing the maintenance of some the facilities of the holy shrine.

The head of the Department of the sanctuary's care at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which had the honor to oversee this delegation and its works, has stated: "Under the direction of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, a delegation from the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) represented by the Department of the sanctuary's care and the Department of the Intellectual Affairs, has spread banners of sadness and sorrow in the shrine of the Mountain of Patience; Lady Zaynab (peace be upon her) in the Syrian capital Damascus, to make the shrine ready for the month of grief of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them); the holy month of Muharram."

And he added: "The banners were sewn in the sewing division of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and on which condolences expressions of this occasion were sewn.

The works have included a final examination of the audio system donated by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the treatment of some technical problems, also the replacement of the lamps of the holy sanctuary with suitable ones with Ashura and the holy month. The holy grid and the chandeliers of the holy shrine were cleaned, in addition to some maintenance works on the holy dome and the maintenance of cleaning equipment for the holy shrine."

It is to note that this campaign lasted for several days and continues day and night in order to show this holy place in the best of ways amid the preparations to commemorate the season of sorrows; Ashura and receiving the mourners. The participants in these works were grateful to the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to grant them this honor of performing these works that join serving Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and his sister al-'Aqeelah Zaynab (peace be upon her).
