Karbala Education Department, the union of its teachers and students, participate with Ashura condolences processions.

With the approach of the Ashura day; the martyrdom anniversary of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), his family and companions, the General Directorate of Education in the province of Karbala and the Teachers Union in addition to its schools' students have organized within their annual activities, a unified condolences' procession, in which the province's schools and the education staff, teachers and officials, have participate to commemorate the sad Ashura anniversary, in which the right revolted over the falsehood of the tyrants who have corrupted the nation of the Messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household).

The procession was launched from the Karbala boys' middle school in the Street to the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and then to the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) passing buy the area between the two holy shrines.

During their march, they have recited and echoed revolutionary lamentations and slogans glorifying this holy blood that illuminated the world, waving banners praising the Imam (peace be upon him) and calling for the occasion to be an inspiration for human values.

And it is worth mentioning that the teachers and students of the General Directorate of Karbala Education, participate every year in a unified procession that includes almost all the schools in the province to present their condolences to Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and his family on their martyrdom anniversary.
