Ashura: An Epic that happened in Iraq 1378 years ago and is still echoing throughout the planet. (With pictures)

Since more than a thousand and three hundred years ago, the lovers and followers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) continue to revive the Hussayni rituals, not caring about the tyranny of the oppressors over the years.

And as every year, millions of Muslims from different countries of the world renew their pledge to the grandson of the Messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household); Imam al-Hussayn son of Ali Ibn Abi Taleb (peace be upon them).

The lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) remind all the people of the world of the positions of jihad and sacrifice to the heroes of the great epic of at-Taf, who sacrificed themselves in order to uphold the message of truth, justice and equality among human beings.

The commemoration of the epic of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) is getting larger day after the other, and becomes more global, attracting more hearts up to the point that we see these days the commemorations of the followers and lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him) all over the world, commemorating the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) making his voice and his timeless epic echo to the farthest point in the world.

Al-Kafeel Global Network has gathered few pictures about these rituals that were held in some world cities.
