A delegation of Iraqi media representatives visits the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its museum.

A delegation of Iraqi journalists and media representatives from Baghdad, Basrah, al-Nasiryah, Maysan, Babylon, Karbala and Najaf, visited the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine on Wednesday morning 20th of Muharram 1439 AH corresponding to the October 11, 2017.

After performing the Ziyarat rituals of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the delegation has visited the al-Kafeel Museum of the treasures and manuscripts that represented various historical eras.

Sheikh Sadeq al-Basri, head of Ahl al-Bayt Foundation, who headed the mentioned delegation, stated to al-Kafeel Network: "A group of media professionals and journalists from various Iraqi provinces have decided to form a delegation to visit the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its museum to see its important treasures and manuscripts, which dates back to thousands of years BC. And also in order to get to know the work in the departments of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to cover the experience and transfer it to the rest of the departments of the state to benefit from it."

And he added: "The media plays a prominent role in working to convey the truth and clarify it, as through the media we can share the real information. Thus, we thank the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and all its employees for the good reception and hospitality, wishing them further progress in their work by the blessings of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him)."
