A delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine visits the military units.

In compliance with the recommendations of the supreme religious authority to support the forces stationed in the battlefields in order to preserve the homeland, a delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine headed on last Wednesday 20th of Muharram 1439 AH corresponding to October 11, 2017 to visit the military units from our security forces and the popular mobilization to provide them the necessary needs of food and some special supplies. The delegation included a group of sheikhs and dignitaries and servants of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) led by sheikh Haidar al-'Aredhi from the Department of the Religious Affairs of the holy shrine. They visited the military units in the recently liberated areas of al-Huwayja and al-Riyadh, and also the stationed forces in the Iraqi-Syrian borders and the river police in the Tharthar area. The delegations has also visited the site of the Speicher martyrs, and held a condolence Majlis and Food banquet in the name of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

The visit included hospitals of the military units and the popular mobilization and providing them with the medical supplies and all that could contribute to meeting the needs of the fighters, which is the least that can be provided to them.

The head of the delegation; Sheikh Haidar al-'Aredhi said in a statement: "The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues its visits to the factions of the heroic fighters stationed in the battlefields since the inception of the fatwa of the supreme religious authority up to this day, in order to provide the material and logistical support. and this visit was conducted under the directives of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi in order to provide material, moral and logistic support." It is to note that this visit of the delegations of the holy shrine lasted five days.
