The Department to maintain of Order at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced the end of all preparations for the Ziyarat Arba'een, as the security aspect has a large importance in this Ziyarat of millions. The staff of the departments made extraordinary efforts to maintain the safety and security of the visitors by creating special plans to organize their entry and exit and to conduct inspections and surveillance of suspicious cases.
The assistant head of the Department to maintain Order; Mr. Abd al-Hussayn Habeeb explained to al-Kafeel Network: "Our preparations for the Ziyarat Arba'een came in accordance with the directions of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, including the preparations of the doors to ease the entry and exit process to the holy sanctuary, and the recruitment of volunteers whose number reached 700 volunteers from some known bodies and their deployment to the external checkpoints and the gates of the holy sanctuary."
And he added: "The work of the volunteers with the staff of the departments is to regulate the flow of the visitors' traffic in the gates of the holy sanctuary and to strengthen the external controls, in addition to the work of the our intelligence services, which are deployed to enhance the security situation by conducting a number of foot patrols around the vicinity of the holy shrine and the nearby areas for surveillance, and also treating some situations that may occur due to the momentum of the visitors numbers. In addition to the use of sonar devices (ID) and baggage checkers at all external checkpoints around the holy shrine."
It is noteworthy that the Department to maintain Order works in coordination with the Communications Division to benefit from the system of visual surveillance and through the screens installed in the department that are connected with the system of surveillance cameras, which contributes to the system to activate the work of the Department and to monitor any case of doubt, which helps to avoid them quickly with the help of the wireless system network devices carried by the officials in the department.
