Very important for the visitors of Arba'een: How to find the lost and missing persons.

The official of the Communications Division of the Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the supervising and implementing authority of the centers of missing and lost persons; Engineer Firas Abbas Hamza, has explained the method and mechanism through which it is possible to find any missing or lost person, by reviewing the nearest center to guide the missing and lost, which are spread throughout the all the axes of the holy city of Karbala from the provinces (Babylon, Najaf and Baghdad).

Indicating: "There are 30 centers that operates an information system that contains a database in which he data of each mission or lost person is found (name, age, picture, address, color of clothing...) and by searching in the database of the information database, one can find the person he is looking for and the center in which he is, in case the missing person was directed to one of these centers."

Adding: "If the information related to the missing person is not found in the database, a radio call will be circulated to all the centers and broadcasted by loudspeakers in the city center, hoping to find his relatives, meanwhile the person stays in the center."

Engineer Firas continued: "If found, his family will be informed by telephone and accompanied to the Center for guiding the lost and deliver him to his relatives after confirming their information and their identity documents. And if the person's family are far away, a car or a bus is provided to transport the missing person to his family with the same identification mechanism."

Concluding: "These centers are connected to a unified operations room of the Communications Division at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which operates continuously for 24 hours.
