With the participation of 750 Imams, performing the largest congregational prayer in the world in 40 Km between Najaf and Karbala.

Among the most important activities of the Hawza preaching Project during the Ziyarat Arba'een, is performing congregational prayer every day in the places where the preachers are present. And on the seventeenth of Safar, they perform the congregational prayer and this time stretched along the road of the Ziyarat.

For the fifth year in a row, the congregational prayer is held at one time, where tens of thousands of worshiper queue up behind the 750 Imams leading they prayers, on a distance of about forty kilometers on the road of "Ya Hussayn " between Najaf and Karbala, to remember the day of Ashura, when Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) was targeted by arrows and spears of the enemy while he was performing the obligatory prayer.

The unified congregational prayers, has started this year, from the column 96 where is located the holy shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and continued up to the column 950. In addition to the congregational prayer for women from column 208, where is located the procession of the two holy shrines, where the congregational prayer is led for men and women by Sayed Ahmad al-Ashkori, the general supervisor of the Hawza preaching, up to the column 228.
