After finishing its works for the Ziyarat Arba'een, the Department of the shrine's care replaces the carpet of the holy sanctuary.

Within the framework of its continuous care of the holy sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), the Department of the sanctuary's care of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has replaced the carpet in the holy sanctuary with another set in line with the sanctity of the place, and this after finishing all the works related to Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

The department directed its employees from the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to replace the carpet with a new one at night so they can work smoothly because the momentum of visitors is lower in the late hours of the night, which helps the staff to work more comfortably, as they cleaned the floor with disinfectant and sterilized materials to preserve the carpets newly put from the pests and insects.

This process comes within the framework of the periodic program of the mentioned department for the replacement of the carpet set after the Ziyarat Arba'een each year, and according to the guidance of the General Secretariat of the holy shrine. The used carpets are from the finest quality carpets woven and manufactured specifically for the holy sanctuary with high specifications.
