With the participation of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad: The launch of the liberation operations of the desert of the great island [Jazeera Kubra]

With the first hours of the morning, the knights of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad draw a morning of a new hope for the homeland to open and storming the front of the desert of the Jazeera Kubra, within the liberation operations of the Jazeera areas between the provinces of Salahuddin, Nineveh and Anbar from the clutches of the terrorist ISIL gangs with the air support of the Air Force Hawks, as well as the artillery and missile support of the Squad, causing the killing of many of the remnant defeated members of ISIL.

According to a statement of the Squad, its heroes achieved their determined goals with determination and power and were able to liberate the villages of Bareet and Samn continuing the liberation operations in the villages of Shikhan and Shikha, and they controlled a central communications center in addition to the control of a number of vehicles of the terrorist ISIL gangs after they retreated.

Thus, the entire area liberated by the units of the al-Abbas's (p) fighting Squad is 35 km from the axis of operations as the first stage of the first day of the liberation operations of the desert of Jazeera Kubra.

It is noteworthy that the command of the cleansing operations of Upper Euphrates and al-Jazeera, has announced Thursday, October 23, 2017, the launch of the second phase of the cleansing operations of the Jazeera and upper Euphrates between the province of Salahuddin, Nineveh and Anbar with the participation of the Iraqi Army Force and the popular mobilization factions.
