The fighters of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad were able within the operations of "The Messenger of Allah; the Seal of the Prophets" to liberate the great Sahara between the provinces of Mosul, Salahuddin and Anbar, to find large piles of equipment and explosives that were used by the terrorist ISIL gangs to carry out its criminal operations.

The statement of the Squad said that through the continuous inspection carried out by the fighting units of the al-Abbas's (p) Fighting Squad in the areas that were under the control of the criminal ISIL, and which were recently liberated by the heroes of the squad, they managed to find in the vicinity of Jinif airport south-west of the Hadhar district the largest depot of weapons and explosives belonging to the terrorist ISIL gangs that they left and fled.

The stated added that this depot contained communications equipment, light and medium weapons, sniper weapons, explosive devices, improvised explosive devices, rocket launchers for persons and vehicles, anti-craft weapons and various kinds of ammunition, as well as mortars, bulletproof vests, protective wagons, weapons carriers and ammunition.
