The opening of the First Women Scientific Conference of the two holy shrines under the slogan "Karbala: Beauty and responsibility"

The opening of the First Women Scientific Conference held under the patronage of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) was held on Tuesday evening 9th of Rabi' Awwal 1439 AH corresponding to the November 28, 2017 in the hall of the Master of the Guardians (peace be upon him) at the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).

The conference was held under the slogan "I recommend you, dear sister, to take good care of yourself!" and with the theme of: "Karbala: Beauty and responsibility" in Tuesday and Wednesday, started today with the presence of a group of the believing ladies led by the wife of the Senior Official of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and the wife of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and a number of researchers and officials of the women's departments at the two holy shrines.

The first session started with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by the national anthem and then the anthem of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine "The Call of the Belief". Then the word of the Institution of Heir of the Prophets for Specialized Studies in the Hussayni Uprising, followed by lecture of Prof. Dr. Ibtisam al-Madani / Faculty of Basic Education, Kufa University. The research session was then opened to discuss a number of the accepted research (60 research out of 107 participating research).

It is noteworthy that one of the most important objectives of this conference, is to contribute to highlighting the scientific role of the woman and its impact on the success of the Hussayni uprising in achieving its goals, and upgrading her intellectual and cultural aspect and highlighting her position and role in correcting the course and reforming the individual and social reality.

IT is to note that the closing session, which will be held tomorrow Wednesday 10th of Rabi' Awwal 1439 AH in the hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, will include the recommendations of this conference.
