Relief Committee of the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority helped the affected families in Darbandikhan as a result of the earthquake and provided 2300 food baskets to the Displaced of al-Huwayja.

The work of the Relief Committee of the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority was not limited to provide relief to the displaced or affected families by the military operations, but it has also had other humanitarian activities, namely, the relief of the families affected by the recent earthquake in the district of Darbandikhan and its villages in Sulaymaniyah province, and the provision of humanitarian aid to them; 1700 food baskets and ten thousand blankets, and conveying the sympathy of the Supreme Religious Authority and its prayers for them and for all Iraqis.

The aid was delivered to the most remote village in the depth of the mountains and valleys, despite the roughness of the road and the damage of some it due to the fall of large stones, but all this did not stop the committee to perform its humanitarian task.

The beneficiaries, whether from the people of the area or the officials of the districts, have welcomed the committee praising this initiative of the supreme religious authority, which reflects the depth of the humanitarian position of the Supreme Religious Authority and its parenting role for all Iraqis, calling the Almighty god to protect him.

In another humanitarian work, which is at the core of its work, the committee delivered 2300 food baskets to the displaced of al-Huwayja in the three Alam camps. And when the distribution was completed, the displaced asked the committee members to convey their respect, thanks and regard to the Supreme Religious Authority and to his office, for their efforts to help them since the emergence of the displacement crisis and so far.

It is noteworthy that this campaign is part of a large project adopted by the office of the Supreme Religious Authority; Sayed Ali al-Sistani to provide relief to the displaced in all areas that witnessed the battles of liberating the land from the ISIL gangs, as well as the displaced camps.
