In conjunction with the blessed birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household): The conclusion of the activities of the first phase of the Quranic project for students of religious sciences.

In conjunction with the blessed birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) and his grandson Imam Ja'far as-Sadeq (peace be upon him), the activities of the Quranic project for students of religious sciences held under the auspices of the Institute of the Holy Quran at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Najaf branch, was concluded on Monday 15th of Rabi' Awwal 1439 AH corresponding to the December 4, 2017.

The ceremony was held in the Hussayniya of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) in the province of Najaf, in the presence of the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi and its Secretary-General Eng. Mohamad al-Ashigar, representatives of the offices of the religious references, teacher of the Hawza and the students of the religious sciences as well as the participating students.

After reciting verses from the Holy Quran and reading Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, there was a welcoming speech by the Institute of the Holy Quran at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine delivered by its director Sheikh Jawad al-Nasrawi, in which he presented his congratulations to the attendees on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), then he highlighted the most important activities and projects carried out by the Institute since its inception until today, as well as the future projects of the Institute.

Then, it was the turn of the word of the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine delivered by its Senior Official Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, in which he praised the work of the Institute of the Holy Quran and its pioneering role in spreading Quranic sciences through the sciences of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). His Eminence has also stressed on the importance to give more interest to the Holy Quran from all segments of the society, especially the students of the religious sciences by the support of the teachers of the Hawza in Najaf...

Followed by the word of the participating students in this project delivered on their behalf by Sheikh Dakhel al-Khuza'i, who has thanked the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the care given to this project.

At the end of the ceremony, all those who contributed to the success of the Quranic project, led by the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi and a number of the scholars of the Hawza.
