Sayed al-Ashigar chaired the delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine attending the opening of the kindergarten on Sunday 21st Rabi' Awwal 1439 AH corresponding to December 10, 2017, which was attended by the Senior Official of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him); Sheikh Abd al-Mahdi al-Karbala'i, who stated to al-Kafeel Network: "The opening of the kindergarten of Lady Ruqayya (peace be upon her) came within the circle of interest of the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine on the educational side of the orphans who form a large segments of the Iraqi people, especially the orphans of the martyrs. And to embrace and nurture this segment by providing the suitable environment to give it an educational and psychological support after the loss of their parents."
For his part, the supervisor of the orphans Schools; Sayed Sa'd Eddin Hashem Mahdi stated: "The holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) owns four primary and secondary schools for orphans, as well as kindergarten for boys and girls. The capacity of this kindergarten is 250 children. And the services are provided to them in an organized way in terms of food, clothing, transport and stationary as well as health and treatment services."
It is noteworthy that holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) have paid great attention to the orphans by providing them many services, including opening education institutions in addition to the establishment of recreational and educational activities and providing assistance in kind and moral aid to them and their families.
