The carpentry technicians at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine arrive at advanced stages in the wooden structure of the sanctuary's grid of al-Qassem (peace be upon him).

The work of the wooden structure of the sanctuary of al-Qassem son of Imam Musa son of Ja'far (peace be upon both of them), which grid is being manufactured in the factory of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine for the manufacture of the grids and doors of the holy shrines and sanctuaries, reached advanced stages according to the plan set by the technical committee supervising this work.

The carpentry technicians in the factory did not spare any effort to complete this grid, which wooden structure is considered as the most important manufacturing stages. Since being assigned to this work, the technical staff took the responsibility of several matters such as the control and calculation of the required measurements within the designs prepared for the grid, and calculating the weights of gold and silver and its parts that will cover the structure, and after taking these measurements and weights and conducting the necessary study the quality of the wood and its dimensions were selected.

The used wood is Burmese wood, which has several advantages, including resistance to various environmental conditions and its ability to withstand weights and its resistance to termites and other insects. The raw wood was formed and cut according to the dimensions of the structure using special machines, then technical and engineering operations were conducted according to the required measurements.

Most of the manufacturing and installation of the structure's parts was completed in one of the factory halls. The wooden parts were linked in an artistic manner other than the traditional ways used in the manufacture of the wooden structures used for the shrines' grids, which is the same as the one used for the installation of the grid of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) sot that the structure is ready for the installation of the metal parts of the silver and gold, which works are conducted in parallel with these works.

It is noteworthy that the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine has signed a contract with the Sanctuary of al-Qassem son of Imam Musa son of Ja'far (peace be upon them) for the manufacture of its new grid, to be a project within the series of works done by the factory to make this grid and others, as the staff of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine working in the field of manufacturing holy shrines and sanctuaries has accumulated experience, skill and professionalism in the implementation of such projects, translated on the ground starting with the project of the holy shrine of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which is the first grid designed and manufactures by Iraqi hands. And the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine decided to employ its works outside the holy shrine, based on several factors, most importantly the harmony between the modern equipment and machines of the factory of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the manufacture of the grids of the holy shrines and sanctuaries, and the expertise of its working staff who are able to produce very impressive works in design and implementation.
