Abu Taleb (peace be upon him) in the view of researchers.

In cooperation with the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, the Faculty of Arts at Mustansiriya University held an extensive cultural symposium which was organized under the name "Sayed Abu Taleb; the believer of the Aal of Mohammad (peace be upon them)" and witnessed the participation of researchers with a series of high-content researches shedding light on the parts of the biography of this great figure which has been credited with great influence on Islam and Muslims, highlighting glimpses of the blessed jihadist approach that distinguished the biography of the first Mujahid of Islam, the righteous believer of Quraish; Abu Taleb (peace be upon him), the supporter of Prophet Mohammad (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household), whose image was tarnished by the enemies of Islam in various ways, {They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it.} (9:32). And this symposium and similar seminars and activities established by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is to highlight the truth about the reality of the believer of Quraish and the Master of al-Batha Abu Taleb (peace be upon him).

The symposium included part of the film "The Grand Companion", a documentary produced by the al-Kafeel Center of artistic production in the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. The lecture was held at Al-Farahidi Hall in the above-mentioned college to highlight some of Abu Taleb's life in a documentary film that contributes to the lifting of the injustice inflicted on him by those who have no history or fairness in the investigation either out of ignorance or of hostility to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) or as a victory for their enemies.

Professor Dr. Hussein al-Ansari from the Faculty of Arts, for his part, said: "The cinematic image has become an important and influential means of communication for the public today. This is what many countries around the world have adopted through the establishment of festivals and film meetings, especially as we live today in the era of information development and the age of the picture. Thus, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has many achievements at the level of production of documentaries, which is a qualitative addition to the field of culture at the level of thought and the dissemination of Islamic religious ideas. So cinema remains a very influential and important mean."

The director of the work, Azhar Khamis, presented his directing views on this artistic work, then listened to the audience's observations and questions, and in turn answered them.

The film witnessed a great and clear interaction by the audience over the period of its presentation which lasted more than 27 minutes, as they expressed their admiration for the work because it is a product of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, hoping that such artistic activities will be repeated to highlight the life of other personalities whose history has been absent or denied like the character of Abu Taleb (peace be upon him).
