In the presence of its Senior Official, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine concludes its first national Quranic competition.

The Institute of the Holy Quran for women of the Department of Islamic Knowledge and Humanity at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine concluded the activities of the first Quranic contest after completing its preliminary stages, in which participated 200 provinces from the various Iraqi provinces, 52 of which were contested within two days in the Hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) In the holy shrine in order to choose the winners of this competition, which complement the series of competitions held by the Institute in the province of Najaf and its branches in the rest of the provinces, which aims to spread the Quranic culture and strengthen the spiritual ties with the dear Book of God and activate the effective role left by the holy Quran in everyday life and as an encouragement factor to readers of the holy Quran.

The official senior of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, during his speech at the conclusion of this competition, encouraged the establishment of such Quranic activities and events for women so they are not limited to men only; as it encourages them to preserve and maintain the recitation of the Holy Quran and the meditation in its verses, which lead to a Quranic culture that creates a conscious and well-educated generation.

The two-day closing competition witnessed conducting the test of the first three parts [Juz'], then the test for five parts, ten parts and twenty parts for those who learn the Quran.

The second day witnessed the completion of the rest of the competition and then the closing ceremony, which was held by honoring the winners of the first classes of each category, as well as the honoring of the jury and honoring the reader of the Institute of the holy Quran for women "Hawra 'Amer" who won the first rank in three national Quranic competitions.
