The Iraqi Interior Minister is honored to visit the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and praises its security monitoring system.

The Iraqi Interior Minister; Mr. Qassem al-A'raji, is honored to visit the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine and after performing his Ziyarat and prayers rituals, he had a meeting with its Senior Official Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, where they exchanged views on a number of issues, most importantly the victories achieved by the security forces and the popular mobilization by the complete liberation of the Iraqi territories from the clutches of the terrorist ISIL gangs, which have been achieved thanks to the fatwa for defense of the supreme religious authority in Najaf with the efficient response of Iraqis to it. Both sides stressed the permanence of this victory by fighting extremist ideology and dormant ISIL cells, in addition to giving attention to the wounded and the families of martyrs.

The visit also included a tour of the cameras and observation system at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. The minister listened to the brief explanation of the official of the communications department at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, Eng. Firas Abbas Hamza, about the scientific and technical mechanisms used in managing this advanced system and the positive results achieved in the field of surveillance and security as well as visitor statistics.

The Minister of Interior praised the modern technologies and the modern scientific method of this system and the staff have been working on, and recommended the importance of the continued fruitful cooperation between the security forces and the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to maintain security in the holy province of Karbala.
