The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs organizes a course to develop the functional performance for the officials of its divisions and units.

In order to develop the skills and improve the job performance to contribute to the development and increase of the functional capacities and the renewal and updating of information, the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has held a developmental course in the development of the career performance for the officials of the divisions and units of the department.

The session, which was held on the conference and symposiums hall at the al-'Ameed International Center for Studies and Research, comes within the series of development courses organized by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs, which includes all staff of the department according to a studied plan, each according to his specialization and what is appropriate to the nature of his work.

The training program was supervised by Mr. Firas Al-Shammari (a certified trainer in the field of human development and strategic planning in the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs - Division of Thought and Creativity) was a workshop of four hours of training, focused on the importance of training staff to provide the best results in their work, the importance of setting standards and objectives for each job and ways to achieve them, the development of job performance and the importance of taking information about the nature of work and how to accomplish.

Participants in the course stressed the importance of establishing such training programs as they contribute to the development and advancement of work, as well as contribute to the improvement of skills and the development of functional capacities, as well as their importance in enhancing personal and functional skills to perform the required tasks in a fullest manner and help to keep abreast of developments.
