The preparatory committee for the Martyrdom's Spring Festival announces the themes of the eighth annual conference and invites female researchers and writers to participate in it.

The preparatory committee for the fourteenth edition of the World Cultural Martyrdom's Spring Festival invites female researchers and writers from inside and outside Iraq to participate in its eighth annual conference held within that activities of its festival, which will be held by the two general secretariats of the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) in the beginning of the coming month of Sha'ban to celebrate the birth anniversaries of the Mohammadian lights (peace be upon them) under the slogan "By al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) we make revolution and by the fatwa we are victorious."

The Committee identified the themes of the research conference, which were as follows:

1 - The impact of the Ashura values in perpetuating the momentum of the fatwa of defense

2 - Religious discourse between the method of exclusion and containment / contemporary jihadist discourse model (comparative study).

3 - The circumstance and its impact in the Declaration of the defense of sanctities / (comparative study) between Karbala yesterday and present.

4- Reading the Western media of the defense fatwa and its results.

5 - The impact of the fatwa in the prevention of sectarian strife and the strengthening of national unity.

6. The contributions of Ashura women in defending sacred sites.

7- The impact of the media in achieving victory.

8 - The impact of the pillars of faith in the construction of the psyche of Mujahid / Burayr bin Khudair (peace be upon him) as an example.

9 - The effect of good education in the construction of the individual / Omm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) as an example.

10- Human rights between the concepts of Ashura and religious authority and the UN concepts / (comparative study)

11 - Characteristics of the leader and leadership between victory and defeat and its manifestations in Ashura and popular mobilization; the leadership of Aba Al-Fadl al- Abbas (peace be upon him) as model (a comparative study from a strategic perspective).

12 - The effect of supplication in the refinement of the faith spirit of the Mujahid / example of Dua' al-Thoghoor in the Sahifa as-Sajjadiyah.



The Preparatory Committee has set a number of conditions and criteria for the research that the female researchers are required to respect to participate in the festival and competition, as follows:

1- The research should not be published or presented or submitted for publication to other parties previously.

2- The research should be written according to a sober scientific approach.

3- The number of pages should not be less than 15 pages and no more than 30 pages, written with a font size 14 and simplified Arabic Font and printed on A4 and put in a CD.

4- An abstract of not more than 300 words should be attached to the research.

5- All research outside the axes will be rejected and the research that does not include a biography of the researcher will be neglected.

6- The research with its files, CV, the researcher picture and her email and mobile phone number should be sent to the email address or directly to the Center of the Siddiqa al-Tahira (peace be upon her) [Division of al-Kafeel female schools] located in Hay al-Mulhaq in the Road of the Educational Hussayni Hospital or via the email: Fatema14asad@gmail.com

Note that an award has been allocated for the best three winning researches, as follows:

- The first winner (1,500,000) one and a half million Iraqi dinars.

- The second winner (1,000,000) one million Iraqi dinars.

- The third winner (750,000) seven hundred and fifty thousand Iraqi dinars.
