The Guidance and Support Committee at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine provides logistical support to the volunteers of the Defense Fatwa in an-Nasr cliff and Latifiyah.

In continuation of its previous series of tours and the approach adopted since the launch of the advisory opinion of the sufficient duty defense in the provision of its support to those who answered this fatwa, the Committee of Guidance and Support at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine sent logistical and moral assistance to the volunteers of the popular mobilization forces in the axis of operations Jorf al-Nasr southwest of the city of Babylon, and Latifiyah district north of the city, which are suited to these cold weather conditions, as well as conveying the greetings and prayers of the supreme religious authority to them, and its recommendations to them emphasizing the need to sustain the momentum of victory achieved on ISIL terrorist gangs and to abort any desperate attempt to destabilize security and stability in these regions.

Sheikh Haidar al-'Aridi, head of the Guidance and Support Committee at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, was present in this campaign and spoke to the Al-Kafeel Network, saying, "Based on the directives of the supreme religious authority, to follow-up of the fighters stationed in the liberated districts, a delegation of the Guidance and Support Committee of the Department of Religious Affairs visited the fighters stationed in the districts of [Jorf an-Nasr] cliff of victory and Latifiyah to provide the assistance and humanitarian and logistical aid necessary to them, and included a number of brigades and factions of the popular mobilization controlling this land. "

"The aid included food such as rice, sugar, tea, and other food cans needed by the fighter during duty, as well as blankets, winter clothes, socks and other clothes that protect the head and hands from extreme cold, as well as some blessing gifts from the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which increases morale of the stationed fighters."

Anwar Sabah al-Harbi of the Guidance and Support Committee said that after the announcement of the victory over ISIL gangs, some of the supporting parties stopped or reduced the provision of aid and assistance to the heroic fighters stationed in areas that have been liberated for a long time and most of them need support, And our visit to these units was based on these facts."

The fighters of the popular mobilization, in turn, praised the initiative of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and its permanent presence on the fighting fronts or in the liberated areas, stressing at the same time that such initiatives will raise their morale and determination to remain a deterrent shield to anyone who thinks of tampering with the security and safety of this country.

It is to mention that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is keen to send convoys of food and in kind aid to all the districts of military operations in support of the security forces and the popular mobilization heroes, in addition to the formation of a special committee to honor the families of their martyrs and follow-up cases of their wounded.
