Dr. Faisal Al-Hafian, Director of the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts of the Arab League in Cairo, praised the participation of the Library and the House of Manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the activities of the "Arab and Islamic Heritage, Balance, Work, Culture and Attendance" in its second edition held currently in the Egyptian capital; Cairo, describing it by the distinct participation.
He also called for the repetition of such participation in the upcoming sessions of the conference, and to expand its scope, because it carries a lot of benefit and enriched the participants and attendees, whether at the level of research and proposals or at the level of the exhibition that was held on the sidelines of the conference.
This came during the tour he made in the exhibition pavilions listening to a detailed explanation of the exhibits, either about the rare manuscripts and documents or at the level of publications.
At the conclusion of the tour, Dr. Faisal Al-Hafian promised the delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine to visit the shrine in the coming days and work on opening joint works and cooperation between the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts and the Library and House of Manuscripts of the Holy Shrine.
It is to note that the participation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in this conference, which is hosted by the Institute of Arabic Manuscripts in Cairo, and organized by the mentioned institute, the manuscripts' Center at the Suez Canal University and the Center for the Revival of the Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad, was on two levels, first on the level of research by eight participations of researchers from the library and house of manuscripts of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine after the selection of their research to be presented in the conference, out of the 120 research selected by the scientific committee of the conference. And on the level of the exhibition that included pictures of manuscripts' treasures, documents and a collection of books which are the publications of the holy shrine.
