The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a condolence program to commemorate the death anniversary of the noble lady Om al-Baneen Fatima bint Huzam (peace be upon her), the mother of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) and his brothers who were martyred in Karbala with the master of the martyrs al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), coinciding with tomorrow Friday thirteenth of Jumada Thaniya.
The condolence program will continue for three days starting on Thursday (12th Jumada II), where there will be a pause in memory of this Lady, who is one of the virtuous women, who knew the right of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), sincere in her loyalty, pure in their faith, and has a lofty position in their heart. The commemoration will be held through the condolence procession, which will be held in conjunction with the servants of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and this is a known condolence tradition of the employees of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), and there will be condolence poems and elegies.
The program also includes a covering the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in black and hanging banners with expressions of condolence as well as the establishment of the condolence Council that will continue until Sunday, with the participation of a number of orators followed by a lamentation [latm] Council led by Radood Haj. Basem al-Karbala'i, as well as the establishment of a condolence Council in the honors hall of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
On the other hand, the security and service departments in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine announced their readiness to receive the mourners and the condolence processions which will come to extend their condolences to Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) for this painful occasion.
It is worth mentioning that Om al-Baneen (peace be upon her) after her service to the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali his two sons Imam al-Hassan and Imam al-Hussayn and his daughter Zaynab Al-Kubra (peace be upon them all) and after a blessed life that she used in the true worship of God and after long sorrow for the loss of the guardians of God Almighty, the martyrdom of Imam Ali Ibn Abi Taleb in his Mihrab, his son al-Hassan poisoned, and the martyrdom of her four sons at the same hour to redeem the beloved grandson of the Holy Prophet Imam al-Hussayn (Allah's prayers be upon them all). After that, her painful death was on the thirteenth of Jumada al-Thaniyah in the year 64 AH, and she was buried in the cemetery of al-Baqi' near Ibrahim, Zainab, Om Kulthum, Abdullah, al-Qasim and other companions and martyrs. Her tomb was demolished by al-Nawasib along with the tombs of the imams of the Prophet's family (peace be upon them).
Peace be upon this pure, venerable, faithful woman, who has followed the footsteps of the Lady of the Worlds' Women; Fatima az-Zahra (peace be upon her), and congratulations to her and to all believing women who have followed her example.
