In appreciation of their efforts: The Institute of the Holy Quran honors the teachers participating in the Quranic Stations Project during the Ziyarat of Arba'een.

Among the Quranic projects that the Institute of the Holy Quran at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held during the Ziyarat Arba'een of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) is the Quranic Stations Project, which is organized by the Supreme Quranic Authority at the sanctuaries and shrines in cooperation with the Federation of Quranic Associations and Gatherings in Iraq, in order to contribute actively to serve the masses of millions heading towards the Master of martyrs (peace be upon him).
In appreciation of these efforts, the Institute honored the Qur'anic teachers who participated in this project by setting up a ceremony held this Saturday morning (13 Jumada II 1439 AH) corresponding to March 3, 2018 at Imam Hassan Hall (peace be upon him).
During the ceremony, there was a speech by the director of the Institute of the Holy Quran Sheikh Jawad Nasraoui, who said: "The al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has been marked by excellence and specialization in all fields and all intellectual, cultural or architectural activities, including the field of Quranic activities which are parts of the activities of the Institute that is keen to organize the Quranic Stations Project during Ziyarat Arba'een, aiming to spread the Quranic culture and teach visitors to read the Holy Quran correctly, and in particular the Quranic verses read in the prayer, and this project has given good and fruitful results."
"The number of beneficiaries of this project has reached 400 thousand visitors. This is what encouraged us to implement the project of the Ziyarat of teaching the corr3ct reading also in homes, Hussayniyat and mosques, through our branches in different regions. According to the statistics of 2017 the number of stations we have launched was more than (150) stations on the roads leading to Karbala, and the number of professors participating in these stations was more than (120) professors and in the same statistics the number of beneficiaries for the year 2017 reached (180 thousand).
There was also a speech of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine delivered by Sheikh Aqeel al-Obeidi from the Department of Religious Affairs, in which he pointed out the importance of the book of God and the importance of meditating in its meanings, as well as the good reading with the respect of its rules, and each believer has to seek this endeavor and to invest every opportunity, Including the opportunity and occasion of the Ziyarat Arba'een, during which the Institute of the Holy Quran held Quranic stations for this purpose, and brothers have worked hard in this regard, thanking them for what they have done and they have to continue this effort year after year."
The branches of the Holy Quran Institute in the Iraqi provinces which had the most impact in the implementation of this project also had a speech on their behalf by the official of the branch of the Institute of the Holy Quran in the district of Hindiya; Hamid al-Mar'abi, where he said: "The Quranic stations began and spread on the roads leading to the holy Karbala In order to do the most noble work, the service of visitors of Abu Abdullah Al Hussayn (peace be upon him) and receive and encourage and teach them the correct reading of the Holy Quran, has benefited from our Quranic stations more than (180) thousand visitors, thanks to the efforts of teachers and teachers on these stations, It is hoped that the number of beneficiaries in the following years will be more and more, because this project is one of the most important projects established by the General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in the field of the Holy Quran, and it has many projects that contribute to the expansion of the Quranic arena from the establishment of forums, seminars and competitions."
The ceremony included a documentary film showing the most important activities of the Institute of the Holy Quran, and there were poetry participations to conclude the ceremony by honoring the professors.
