Malaysian Academic Delegation: Al-'Ameed University is a young experience that puts it at the forefront of local leadership and progress towards regional and global leadership.

The policy of opening up to scientific academic institutions inside and outside Iraq is one of the components of the work of the al-'Ameed University of the Higher Education and Education Authority at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. It has hosted a number of academic figures and heads of Arab and international universities to contribute to improving the level of education in the university in this area.
The university was visited by an academic delegation from Malaysia headed by Dr. Haider Fawzi Al-Shakraji, Chairman of the Iraqi Professional Consultant Association in Malaysia, along with a number of the teachers at its universities. The delegation was received by the Head of the Education and Higher Education Authority, Dr. Abbas Al-Dadah, who together with the delegation conducted a field tour of the faculties of the university and witnessed the educational system followed in them, in addition to its laboratories and other sections as well as future plans for horizontal and vertical expansion.
At the conclusion of the tour, the delegation expressed its happiness and astonishment at what it saw at the university. Dr. Haidar Fawzi Al-Shakraji said: "This visit comes to discuss and establish the first steps for agreements to contribute to the development of academic aspects in our dear country, and learn from the Malaysian experience that had passed through similar conditions in its beginnings. The delegation included a group of academics from many Malaysian universities aspiring to open branches in Iraq and visiting the al-'Ameed University within a program prepared for the delegation to see what the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has made in the field of education and Higher Education, as it is considered a young experience that puts it at the forefront of local leadership and progress towards regional and global leadership. "
It is noteworthy that the al-'Ameed University is one of the most important educational institutions of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, and has opened the first Faculty of Medicine at the level of private medicine, by the application of a curriculum of global education, and in order to strengthen it, it occasionally organizes conferences, seminars, lectures and host academic figures who have the expertise in this field in order to benefit from it and employ it in the right direction to serve the interest of the scientific movement and make it in the ranks of international academic institutions.
