The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine pays tribute to families of martyrs of the popular mobilization.

In accordance with the directives of the supreme religious authority, the Committee of the Second Annual International Festival of Spirit of Prophethood dedicated a space in the opening ceremony to pay tribute to those who sacrificed themselves for the sake of the pride of the homeland. And a group of families (wives and mothers) of the martyrs of the popular mobilization and the security forces were honored.

President of the preparatory committee for the festival, Professor Boshra Jabbar told us about this event by saying: "This event comes to pay tribute to these families who sacrificed their beloved ones so that the land of Iraq and its holy sites remain safe, as thanks to their blood we are able to hold such ceremony, so to honor the souls of the martyrs, we have to remember their families in every occasion and the birth anniversary of Lady. Fatima Az-Zahra (peace be upon her) is one of the most important of these events."

She added: "The honor included a group of martyrs such as the mother or wife of the martyr, as they deserve more than this, and thanks to them we had victory and the blessing of safety, which was achieved thanks to their sacrifices and the sacrifices of their beloved ones. The tribute was preceded by displaying a documentary about the patience and courage of the martyr's wife after his martyrdom."

It is worth mentioning that the honor was given by the Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine his eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, its Secretary-General Eng. Mohammed Al-Ashigar and the Islamic thinker Sheikh Tijani as well as members of the Board of Directors of the Holy Shrine.

The families of the martyrs expressed their thanks and gratitude for this wonderful parental attention from the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which is already in contact and communication with these families, calling at the same time the central government to take care of these families and facilitate the procedures for obtaining their rights, since most of them suffer from difficult financial situations, and so they feel safe and appreciation of the sacrifices made by their children.
