Head of the Supreme Financial Control Bureau: What we saw in the projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is a source of pride, a pioneering experience and a successful step in supporting the national economy and industry.

The head of the Financial Control Bureau of the Iraqi Council of Ministers Dr. Salah Nuri Khalaf said that "what we saw in the projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is a source of pride because it is a national product that depends on the Iraqi capabilities and expertise and is a pioneering experience and a successful step in supporting the national economy and industry."

This came after the field tour he and his accompanying delegation did to a number of projects of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine accompanied by its Secretary General Engineer Mohammed Al-Ashigar and the head of the Engineering Projects Department, Eng. Diaa Majeed Al-Sayegh and a number of its officials.

Dr. Salah added: "As a financial control bureau of the Council of Ministers, we will convey this bright picture of these projects, and we are working to address the Ministry of Industry and Minerals and other ministers in order to open prospects for cooperation and joint work and exchange of experiences and contribute to support the Iraqi economy and industry, which started to recover."

He added: "Measuring the period of its establishment and its entry into the industrial, medical or other fields, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has achieved a qualitative leap in the coverage of the national product through production and the entry of its goods to all Iraqi provinces."

In turn, Eng. Diaa Majeed Al-Sayegh, Head of Engineering Projects Department at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, said: "This visit is one of many visits by governmental and non-governmental organizations to view the progress of the projects in terms of quality and quantity, relying on the Iraqi skills and expertise, and this is its approach since the start of its first projects to show the world that the Iraqi mind and efficiency is capable of creating, design and implementation of any project and any competence if it is provided by the appropriate possibilities and support. And this is what we felt in all the projects set up by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine. And on the other hand, to give a message to the government institutions that the holy shrine projects are supporting projects for the Iraqi industry and the Iraqi economy and do not compete with it.
