Within the celebrations for the birth anniversary of the fifth of the infallible Imams; Imam al-Baqer (peace be upon him) the fourth edition of the cultural festival of Imam al-Baqer (peace be upon him), held by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine under the slogan: "Imam al-Baqer: the prestige of the guardian (peace be upon him) and the heir of the Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household)" on Monday, 1st of Rajab 1439 AH corresponding to March 19, 2018 in the Hall of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) for conferences and seminars in the holy shrine, was concluded in the presence of many figures and delegations.
The closing ceremony of the festival began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran followed by the word of the Preparatory Committee of the festival delivered by its member and the deputy head of the intellectual and cultural affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed 'Aqeel Abd al-Hussayn al-Yasiri, in which he stated after presenting the congratulations to the attendees for the birth anniversary of Imam al-Baqer (peace be upon him):
"The General Secretariat of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine sought to revive this auspicious occasion with a festival about Imam al-Baqer (peace be upon him) and inviting the scholars and researchers to actively participate by the presentation of their research either in Arabic or English so we gather more information and scientific research on the life of our Master; Imam al-Baqer (peace be upon him)."
He then thanked the attendees and the guests for their support for the success of this festival. And he concluded by expressing his gratitude to the fighters of the popular mobilization without whom the life would not be in peace and such festivals would not have been possible to organize, praying for the martyrs and for the speedy recovery of the wounded of the popular mobilization and the security forces."
The conclusion of this festival was by the distribution of appreciation certificates and shields to researchers, participants and all those who contributed to the success of this edition.
