The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine holds the Hussayni Conference at the University of Baghdad for the sixth year in a row.

The sixth Hussayni Conference was held under the patronage of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in collaboration with the Deanship of the Faculty of Education Ibn Rushd on Tuesday morning the 2nd of Rajab 1439 AH corresponding to the March 20, 2018 under the slogan "The Hussayni revolution and the experience of the popular mobilization; two pages of the bright Iraqi victory" in the central hall of Ibn Rushd. The conference began with the recitation of verses of the Holy Quran and then reading Surat Al-Fatihah in memory of the martyrs of the popular mobilization and the security forces, followed by the word of the Dean of the Faculty of Education Ibn Rushd for human sciences; Professor Allawi Sader Jazi' , in which he stated:

The Hussayni conference is held for the sixth year in a row under the patronage of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in cooperation with the Department of Arabic Language in Ibn Rush Faculty of Human Sciences/ Baghdad University. These scientific conferences and seminars are considered one of the ways to get to know more our infallible Imams (peace be upon them). And IT is held today within the celebrations of the victories of the popular mobilization which are an extension to the victories of the Hussayni revolution..."

Then came the speech of the Head of the Department of Arabic Language; Assistant Professor Dr. Khalid Khalil Howeidi said: "For the sixth year in a row, we continue to organize the Hussayni Conference, through which we are trying to establish a distinguished relationship with the University as an academic scientific institution with the cause of Imam al-Hussayn (Peace be upon him). And this year, this conference is held in an important historic moment; the victory over the forces of ISIL terrorism which were along the last four years. But the heroes of the security forces and the popular mobilization, were able to defeat this aggression on the Iraqi territory, which tried through the media to take over us.

He added: "The sixth conference has received 35 research from various Iraqi universities, the scientific committee approved 25 of them, and in conclusion, I would like to thank the brothers in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, sponsor of this conference from the start to the present day."

The conference included three scientific axes:

1 - The first axis / speech of at-Taf / study in the structure of language and literature.

2- The second axis / popular mobilization in the speech of the religious authority in the balance of language and literature.

3 - The third Axis / educational and moral side and its manifestations in the popular mobilization.



The conference was concluded with the distribution of shields and certificates of appreciation to researchers and participants in the conference as well as to representatives of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.
