The Senior Official praises the continuous works on the project of covering the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

The Senior Official of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine; Sayed Ahmad al-Safi has reviewed the latest ongoing work of the project of covering the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), as he listening to a detailed explanation by the heads of Engineering Department; Engineer Dea' Majeed al-Sa'egh and Engineering Maintenance Department; Engineer Abbas Musa Ahmad, as the supervisors of the implementation of this project, explaining the latest works that have been accomplished and the following stages, as well as the technical and engineering matters, in addition to the method and mechanism used in this process, starting from the extraction of the old marble, concrete works and processing the floor to the current works of putting the new marble.

Sayed al-Safi has urged the employees to exert more efforts to accomplish the work within the time frames and in compliance with the design and operational specifications prepared for it, praising at the same time the efforts made during the previous phase of the project.

It is to note that the shrine of Aba Al-Fadl Al-Abbas (peace be upon him) has witnessed the implementation of a number of projects that have been developed according to specific spatial and temporal plans that are suitable for each project and its specificities, such as the project of horizontal expansion and the expansion of the sanctuary by roofing the Holy Shrine, in addition to covering the Iwans and construction of the basements, as well as the installation of the sanctuary's grid and other supporting systems of cooling, fire, alarm, communication and monitoring and other projects that cannot be mentioned, and recently there is another project that is no less important than the rest, namely Project covering the floor of the holy shrine with marble, which was installed since the seventies of the last century.
