The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine participates with a variety of its intellectual and cultural publications in the Baghdad International Book Fair.

The al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine was represented by the Departments of the Intellectual and Cultural Affairs and the Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs in the Baghdad International Book Fair, which started on Thursday, 11th of Rajab 1439 AH corresponding to the March 29, 2018 under the slogan "We read so we progress" with the participation of 600 local, Arab and International publishing houses and will last for ten days.

This participation was characterized by the presentation of a variety of the publications of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for all categories, to be complementary to the series of successes achieved in the previous sessions of the fair, which is one of the important fairs in which the holy shrine participates.

The displayed books and publications have reflected the positive cultural movement and the scientific and intellectual upraising of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, all of which are purely produced in the holy shrine starting from the authorship to the printing, which is a feature that singled the pavilion of the holy shrine.

The Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs has participated by numerous and various publications, periodicals, quarterly publications, books and booklets, with religious, ethical, educational and academic themes, in addition to a set of the latest publications of the shrine for all age groups.

The Department of Islamic and Human Knowledge Affairs has participated by a series of publications and products of the department and its centers (Karbala, Hilla and Basrah Heritage Centers), in addition to the Quranic publications issued by the Institute of the Holy Quran, including the Holy Quran of the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine.

It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has participated in the previous editions of the International Baghdad Book Fair, which is one of the important exhibitions in addition to participating in many other exhibitions and festivals inside and outside Iraq commensurate with the approach taken for the dissemination of the thought and teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). And its pavilions has increasing demand from the public, thanks to the increase in the number of publications in each exhibition.
