The Division of Lost and Found at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine recommends the visitors to put their valuables in the safe for fear of loss and theft.

The departments and divisions of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine make every effort to provide the best services to the visitors of the holy shrine of the Standard-Bearer Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), including the Lost and Found Division of the Department of Religious Affairs at the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which is responsible for keeping and caring for the property of the visitors and delivering it to its owners. AlKafeel Network met with the head of the Lost and Found Division; Sayed Ahmad Hamza Jaber, who stated: "The lost and Found Division is one of the important divisions as it has direct contact with the visitors, and it as the responsibility to keep and care for the property of the visitors that are deposited at the division or what is found inside the holy shrine and the area around it to deliver it to their rightful owners especially during the seasons of Ziyarat. Therefore, we recommend the visitors of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to deliver their valuables from money, gold jewelleries and others to the safe depository of the division for fear of loss of theft."

He added that what is found and deposited in the division is recorded, photographed and archived in special records and lists and also announced on the page of the Lost and Found in the official site of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine (AlKafeel Global Network). This measure comes within the framework of a special and organized mechanism to preserve all the valuable properties and delivering them to their owners, and that millions of lost items have been returned to the owners since the founding of the Division. In addition to the unit of supplications, which offers gifts in form of supplications for preservation, livelihood and diseases and others to the visitors. And as for the work of the Division in the season of the Ziyarat of million visitors, it is intensive because of the influx of large numbers of visitors and this in turn leads to increased losses and there is a development in the field of work especially recently, as we added records to record the missing items alphabetically in addition to registering all information on the lost items in the computer.
