Closing the activities of the second day of the festival of the Martyrdom's Spring: A Quranic evening of the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) and a poetic one in the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine.

Within the second day of the 14th edition of the Cultural Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring, a Quranic evening was held on Saturday the 4th of Sha'ban 1439 AH corresponding to April 21, 2018 in the holy shrine of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him) amid an atmosphere of faith and joy on the occasion of the birth anniversaries of lights in the great month of Sha'ban.

Sayed Ali Abboud al-Ta'i from the Center for Quranic Education in the House of the Holy Quran in the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine explained: "This forum is held every year during the Festival of the Martyrdom's Spring, in which the most known readers of the Holy Quran in the world read. And this year, the participations were by the readers from Indonesia, Imam ar-Redha's (p) holy shrine and also from Iraq.

The Iraqi reader Haj Osama al-Karbala'i, the Indonesian reader of Sayed Fadhlan Zayn al-Din, and the director of Dar al-Quran in the Imam ar-Redha's (p) holy shrine; Sheikh Mahdi Shuja', have recited in this evening verses from the Holy Quran, concluded by the recitation of one of the participants in the project the thousand Hafez in the House of the Holy Quran in the Imam al-Hussayn's (p) holy shrine.

The holy shrine of the Master of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) hosted an evening of the popular poetry presented by poets of the Iraqi provinces, starting with Karbala by the poet Qasem al-Bakhit, then from Babylon by the poet Mohamad al-Fatimi, then from Wasit by the poet Ali al-Fatlawi, and then from the Karbala province by the poet Ala' al-Bidhani. Followed by the poet Hussayn al-Habthali from Nasiriya, the poet 'Ala al-'Issawi from Basra, the poet Hasan al-Barki from Samawa, and the closing was with the poet Zayn al-'Abideen al-Sa'idi in Karbala.
