Thousands of meals were offered by the host restaurant of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) to the visitors of the eve of Mid-Sha'ban.

Within its service plan prepared by the department of the host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the visitors of Imam Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them). It prepared and provided thousands of meals which were distributed in many distribution outlets. These meals were not limited to visitors, but there were other meals for the employees and volunteers in addition to the guests of the Holy Shrine.

"The preparations for this Ziyarat began early, as we supplied the host restaurant with many foodstuffs, as well as the water, juices and other food supplies we needed during the period of the Sha'ban Ziyarat, and as soon as the influx of visitors to the holy city of Karbala began, our staff began to cook food, prepare meals and distribute them to visitors." Stated Haj Kadhem 'Abadah, head of the Host Restaurant Department.

He added: "The distribution of meals during this Ziyarat is not limited to a specific meal or a specific time, but the distribution continues throughout the day from morning to evening, and through three ports are: The host restaurant of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and the host of employees in addition to the outlet of the Qibla street of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (Peace be upon him). The distribution process is conducted easily."

It is noteworthy that the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has announced the completion of all preparations for the reception of visitors of Imam al-Hussayn and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) in the eve and day of mid-Sha'ban, where a joint security and service plan was developed, which contributes to relieving the burdens of the visitor and allow him to perform religious rites with ease and pleasure, as all the possibilities and human and mechanical capabilities were harnessed for this purpose.
