Significant services provided by the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine to its adjacent neighborhoods.

The services provided by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine are not limited to serving the visitors of the sanctuary of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), but there are also other services that go beyond the walls of the holy shrine to the residents of the adjacent neighborhoods located within the security checkpoints set up to protect the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), because these neighborhoods are one of the most important facades and main entrances to these holy areas on the one hand, and on the other hand, there are deficiencies in part of the services provided to them by the municipal departments, so the service departments of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine provide these services to them as part of its moral and religious duty.

Among the services provided by the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine for the inhabitants of these neighborhoods:

1- Facilitating the entry of residents by placing the employees of the shrine at each checkpoint.

2 - Facilitating the entry of materials needed by the residents, which require security approvals.

3 - Rehabilitation of the roads and streets of the city architecturally and electrically.

4 - Adoption of the afforestation project of the old city and planting many trees in them, which contribute to give aesthetic to the streets as well as to improve the environmental reality.

  1. Provide large amounts of sterilized water (RO) through a station, which enable any resident to take enough of water.

6 - Treatment of blockages that get in the sewer as a result of rain or other.

7 - Provide urgent medical treatment through the medical detachment of the holy shrine, in addition to one ambulance to transport any emergency to the nearest hospital.

8 - Regulate the flow of visitors and reduce traffic congestion in the streets adjacent to the holy sanctuary, which have markets.

9 - Contribute to the provision of security protection through mobile security teams.
