The National Quranic Competition for teams concludes its second phase with the qualification of eight teams.

Within the atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadhan, the first stage of the fourth national Quranic contest for teams, which is held by the Center for the preparation of Readers and Hafiz at the Institute of the Holy Quran of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, was concluded on Monday evening in the Shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

During this phase, there was a great competition between the teams and most of the results were close. The eight teams that qualified are Nineveh, Baghdad A, Baghdad B, Diwaniyah, Waset, the popular mobilization, Najaf and Dhi Qar, out of 16 teams that represented many provinces. The qualified teams will enter other tests within the second phase, from which four teams will qualify up to the final stage which will be held on the eve of the fifteenth of the blessed month in celebration of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him).

It is to note that the competition consists of 4 stages, involving 16 teams representing many provinces, each team consists of (reader and interpreter and Hafiz), competing under the supervision of a committee specialized in this area, by answering questions that are pre-placed, points are calculated according to the system of the competition for the announcement of the winning teams, and this competition is held every evening for fifteen days.
