A Quranic session is held daily during the holy month of Ramadhan for the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) in his holy sanctuary.

Since the advent of the month of mercy and forgiveness, the spring of the Holy Quran, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organizes diverse activities related to the Holy Quran to revive its verses in our hearts, such as the Quranic sessions, forums, competitions and lectures, as well as the daily Quranic session held for the servants of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) every morning in his holy sanctuary, with the participation of the visitors.

The Quranic session includes reading a Juz' [part of the Holy Quran of two Hizb] every day and is read by a number of participants in the session, along with the interpretation of the words that need clarification and explanation during reading. the attendees are allowed to correct the recitation of the reader if he erred by giving the correct reading of the verse, making it a teaching interpretative reading session of the Holy Quran that continues until the end of the holy month.

The organizers have shown that any activity related to the Book of Allah - including these Quranic sessions - has religious and moral dimensions, and is useful to strengthen the knowledge and recitation of the participants and visitors, and also it is an opportunity to well use the times of this holy month seeking the blessings of the Almighty God.
