The end of the fourth Quranic contest for teams and Waset team is the winner.

The holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) hosted the conclusion of the competitions of the fourth edition of the national contest for teams held by the Quranic Projects Center at the Holy Quran Institute of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and a number of its officials. The team of Waset province ranked first while the team of province of Najaf came second, and the teams of the popular mobilization ranked third at the expense of the team of Diwaniya province.

The competition, which started on the first day of the holy month of Ramadhan, witnessed strong competition between the participating teams. The results were close between most of them as they had almost equal performance, which created a competitive atmosphere in the Quranic information in order to obtain advanced positions.

At the end of this competition, the first winner won the privilege to keep the flag of the dome of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) for one year in addition to Umrah, the second winner won a gold medal, and the third winner won a blessed flag from the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him).

It is to note that the competition consists of 4 stages, involving 16 teams representing many provinces, each team consists of (reader and interpreter and Hafiz), competing under the supervision of a committee specialized in this area, by answering questions that are pre-placed, points are calculated according to the system of the competition for announcing of the winning teams, and this competition is held every evening for fifteen days.
