Joys are manifested at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine that directs its programs of the holy month of Ramadhan to the celebration of the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him).

In order to celebrate and revive the auspicious birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him), greetings and joy filled the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), which was decorated from the inside and outside by fragrant beautiful wreaths of flowers and roses in different colors, while banners highlighting some of the virtues and qualities of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) were hang in the walls of the holy shrine, in addition to decorating them from the outside and inside with colorful lamps, reviving this blessed occasion, which coincides with the fifteenth of the holy month of Ramadhan.

On the other hand, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine has prepared a special program for the revival of this occasion as part of its program of the holy month of Ramadhan through religious lectures, programs and other cultural and intellectual activities such as the annual festival of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) in Hilla city on the fourteenth of the holy month of Ramadhan, which will last for three days, which is one of the largest celebrations to commemorate the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him).

It is noteworthy that the birth of Imam al-Hassan son of the Commander of the Faithful Ali Ibn abi Taleb (peace be upon all of them) was in the third year of Hijra on the Fifteenth of the holy month of Ramadhan. Gabriel descended from heaven on the Apostle of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) saying: The Almighty send you His Salam and tell you to name him Hassan. And so it was. Then the Holy Prophet (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) sacrificed a ram for him (in the ceremony of ‘Aqiqa). Then he (Allah's prayers be upon him and upon his holy Household) shaved his hair, gave silver equal to his hair, and gave him the title of "Aba Mohammad".
