Closing ceremony of the eleventh annual central festival for the birth of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him).

After six days of activities during which the lovers Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) have celebrated his auspicious birth anniversary, the eleventh edition of the annual central festival for the birth anniversary of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him), which was held by the supreme body supervising the project "Hilla, the city of the Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him)" and under the patronage of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them) under the slogan: "Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) the savior of Muslims and the detector of hypocrites", was concluded on Friday 16th of the Holy Month of Ramadhan 1439 AH corresponding to June1, 2018 in the Hall of the Shiite Endowment in the province of Babylon.

The closing ceremony was attended by a delegation of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine and a gathering of Sayeds, Sheikhs and a large number of academic and university professors from inside and outside Hilla city.

After the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and reading Surat al-Fatiha in memory of the martyrs of Iraq, the first research session was held by a lecture of the Islamic thinker; Professor Hasan Isa al-Hakim, entitled "Suspicions about Imam al-Hassan (peace be upon him) and methods to respond to them."

The research sessions resumed after the performance of the Maghreb and Isha’ prayers with another lecture of the researcher Sayyed Ali Muhammad Hussein al-Tabatabai. His research was entitled: (The role of Imam Hassan in political and public life). There were numerous interventions and questions after both lectures, which the researchers answered.

The closing ceremony continued by the speech of the two holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and of al-Abbas (peace be upon both of them), delivered by the Head of the Department of Education and Higher Education at the al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, Dr. Abbas al-Dadah.

The ceremony also included a poem and honoring the winners of Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him) contest for Rhetoric which was held more than a month ago. The ceremony was concluded by distributing appreciation shields and certificates to the guests of the festival as well as the researchers, media and preparatory committees and all those who contributed in the success of this festival.
