Within the commemoration of the martyrdom anniversary of the Father of orphans, the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine organizes a mass Iftar for the families of the martyrs' orphans of the popular mobilization.

One of the diversified activities of the al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine during the holy month of Ramadhan was allocated to the orphans and their families, especially of those who sacrificed themselves for the sake of the homeland. The host restaurant of the holy shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him) has prepared collective Iftar meals for groups of orphans and their families, whether alone or through charity institutions, within a framework developed in cooperation and coordination with the concerned parties.

The initiative to hold this collective Iftar was organized to coincide with the martyrdom anniversary of the Father of Orphans; Imam Ali (peace be upon him), which is one of the activities maintained by the host restaurant of the holy shrine during the holy month of Ramadhan, to deepen the meaning of love, giving and communication so this segment of the orphans and widows -especially the orphans of the martyrs of the popular mobilization and security forces- feel the care and psychological support, and to make them happy, a gesture that is urged by the teachings of our Islamic religion.
